Chair, Southern Maryland District, Boy Scouts of America. Member, Charles County Chamber of Commerce; La Plata Rotary Club; American Legion Post no. 82. Judge, Voice of Democracy, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Volunteer and patron, Special Olympics. Married.
