In January 2000, the Public Trust and Confidence Implementation Committee was formed by the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals. The Committee implements strategies to bolster public confidence and renew public trust in the courts. In continuing the work of the Committee on Building Public Trust and Confidence in the Justice System, the Committee cooperates with the Maryland State Bar Association.
